Mickey Mouse Cupcakes & Cake Pops

For my son's second birthday, he wanted to have a Mickey Mouse theme.  He loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse which was the inspiration for his party.  And of course, the party would not be complete without cake pops!

I made a birthday banner with Mickey's colors and then used matching balloons to decorate.

I found a cute idea for Mickey Mouse cupcakes on a blog and used Oreos for the Mickey head and mini Oreos for the ears.  However, that did not work out as well as I had hoped and was definitely a Pinterest fail but that's okay because plain red cupcakes worked just as well.   The bottom row of cupcakes was my attempt at the Mickey heads.
