Big Brother Shirts

Nathan and Jack both wanted big brother shirts which they wore proudly! I was so excited to see them wearing their shirts when they met their sister for the first time in the hospital.  I made a Little Sister shirt for her with October 2018 which is the month she was due.  However, she came 4 weeks early so I need to make her a new shirt with September instead.  Actually now that she's born, I need to just make one with her name on it.

Grandparent mug

For Father's Day this year, I made my dad a mug with the names of his grandkids listed on the back.  Since he will be getting another grandchild in October, I will need to update the mug later on.

Teacher tote bag

My oldest son, Nathan, finished Kindergarten this year! I still can't believe it.  We wanted to make a personalized end of year gift for his teacher as a way to thank her for all of her hard work.  Nathan helped pick out the colors and the image.

Kid t-shirts

My 4 year old son, Jack, has become obsessed with vinyl shirts.  He likes the feel of the vinyl and asks me to make him more shirts.  He has told me what images he wants on the shirts and then I search Cricut for ideas.

Coffee Mug and Journal

I've been searching Pinterest for more gift ideas and creative ways to use my new Cricut machine.  The dollar store is my favorite place to get blank items to personalize.  The coffee mug was from the dollar store and I got the notebook at a craft store.  These gifts go well together because who wouldn't want to be drinking coffee while brainstorming new creative ideas?!

Craft Tote Bag

I'm trying out new gift ideas with my Cricut and so I personalized a tote bag for my 4 year old niece.  I found a cute Cricut crayon image and put her name on the bag using heat transfer vinyl.

Name Onesie

My favorite items to make with the Cricut are personalizing shirts and baby onesies.  I love the "My name is" design from Cricut and so I tried it out on a onesie for my nephew.

Birthday Shirts

After I got my new Cricut machine, I wanted to make my son and niece birthday shirts.  This was my first time designing on the Cricut Design Space and playing around with fonts and images.  I definitely watched multiple YouTube videos on tips for layering colors with iron-on vinyl.  I think they both turned out really well.  I can't wait to make more!

I've had so much fun with my circut! I made a big brother shirt and baby onesie for my friend.  I'm so excited to make personalized gifts for people.

Family Celebrations Board

For Mother's Day, I made my mom a family celebrations board with her children, children-in-laws, and grandchildren's birthdays and anniversaries.  There are so many ideas on Pinterest and it was helpful to learn from other blogs about where to get the round discs and hardware.  I used stickers for the months and lettering.  I loved it so much that I made one for my family too.   I think they both turned out really well! And I have more discs to add as the family continues to grow.

5 Layer Rainbow Cake

Jack told me for his 4th birthday that he wanted to have a cake with "all the colors." So I decided to make a 5 layered cake in different colors and multi colored cake pops.  Jack loved helping me with the cake and he actually put the food coloring in each of the 5 bowls of cake batter.  He always wants to help cook and bake so he was a big part of his own birthday preparations.

The cake pops were dipped in white candy melts and have 6 different colored sprinkles on top.  Of course there were plenty to share!

Also, since I recently bought a Cricut machine, I was able to make him a birthday shirt which he insisted on wearing all weekend.

Super Hero Capes with Monogram

My kids love their super hero capes with their initial on them so I decided to make some capes for friends in their favorite colors.

Stuffed Elephants for Baby

I found the most adorable pattern to make a fabric stuffed elephant to give as baby gifts.  I need to add the link to this post.  The instructions were very easy to follow and I was surprised how fast these elephants were to make.  I'll definitely make more of these adorable elephants!

Baby Burp Cloths

I love giving homemade burp cloths as baby gifts for friends and family.  I used them all the time with my kids and so I find them so useful.  All I did was sew a strip of fabric to a cloth diaper but the fabric helps remind the parent which side is the clean side and which side has been used.  And there are so many adorable fabrics to choose from.

J Monogrammed Chevron Pillow

I made another initial monogrammed pillow for my youngest son in his favorite color red.  These are super easy and fast to make.  He loves his pillow!
